Henrikh Mkhitaryan Completes Full Training with Roma's Main Group
Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has trained with the team’s main group. This was reported by the club's official website. It is noted that today, November 14, the player was able to participate in a full training session.
Mkhitaryan has been sidelined for over a month due to an injury. He sustained a groin injury during the Serie A match against Lecce on September 29. It was initially expected that he would return in three weeks, but his recovery has taken longer than anticipated.
Due to the injury, he was unable to assist the Armenian national team in the Euro 2020 qualifying matches in October. He will also miss the last two games, as Armenia hosts Greece on November 15 and then travels to Italy on the 18th.
Earlier, Italian media reported that the Armenian Football Federation wished for the captain to be present and support his teammates during the match against Greece, but he preferred not to interrupt his recovery.
