The Male MP is Not in the Hall, but Male MPs Are Discussing Him: Zohrabyan on 'My Step'
Today, Gevorg Petrosyan became the central figure in the National Assembly, with initiatives concerning the prohibition of marriage for same-sex couples and the adoption of children by transgender individuals being discussed, even after being rejected. Members of the My Step faction began to speak and assert that there is no such issue in need of regulation, and if such an issue exists, there are already existing prohibitions. Based on this, the My Step members began to see elements of distraction in Petrosyan's initiatives.
“The male MP is not in the hall, and male MPs are discussing an absent MP. Is this correct or is this wrong?” expressed NAIRA ZOHRABYAN from the BBP regarding the situation.
The absent Gevorg Petrosyan was being discussed, while the speakers, from the My Step faction, found Zohrabyan's remarks to be met with dissatisfaction.
“The male MP should be in the hall during the session because a discussion related to him has taken place,” responded the session chairman from My Step, Alen Simonian.
