Car Falls into Ravine on Ijevan-Dilijan Highway, Injuries Reported
On November 11 at 18:10, the 911 service was alerted that an accident occurred at the 3rd km of the Ijevan-Dilijan highway, requiring the assistance of rescuers. A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a "Lada Largus" vehicle, driven by Roman G. (born in 1961), had veered off the road and fallen into a ravine (approximately 10 meters deep).
Before the rescuers arrived, local forces managed to bring Roman G. closer to an ambulance, and he was hospitalized at the Ijevan Medical Center. Doctors have assessed the injured's condition as satisfactory.
The rescuers deactivated the vehicle and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
