This is a Red Card for Araik Harutyunyan to Be Removed from the Field: Artsvik Minasyan

Artsvik Minasyan, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation’s governing body, who participated in a student protest today, stated in a conversation with journalists that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has not grasped the underlying reasons for this process. This is a struggle within the framework of national and anti-national phenomena and mindsets.

According to Minasyan, what the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports is implementing under Araik Harutyunyan is illegal: "It is obvious that Araik Harutyunyan and his advisors are trying to mislead this protest that has arisen among the youth." In response to a question from A1+ about whether he had information concerning the criminal cases Araik Harutyunyan alluded to, Artsvik Minasyan replied, "I have absolutely no information; if you have it, please share it, it seems to me that he doesn’t have it either, he is just making statements in the air. Araik Harutyunyan declares how it is that members of the civil service from the party are still working, this is the best manifestation of legal ignorance. Such striving also reveals the essence of a person. Formally, there is a demand here to abandon that deep-seated approach."

It is noteworthy that Minister Harutyunyan had stated, "To be honest, I am preparing to fill the boxes they brought yesterday with dozens and many more criminal cases related to this sector and send them back to them." When asked whether they see serious public support for this movement, considering the reactions of recent days, given that, for instance, the Prime Minister expressed doubt that the public shares the movement's views, Artsvik Minasyan responded, "That is the viewpoint of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan; if he thinks he is so democratic that he can raise such questions, he is mistaken, because our people are very sensitive to such issues, it is essential to understand that one cannot bring a false agenda into the country." According to Minasyan, this is a red card for Araik Harutyunyan to be removed from the field.
