Nikola Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan to Visit France for Official Trip

Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan will make an official visit to the French Republic on November 11-12, 2023, to participate in the second Paris Peace Forum and the 40th General Conference of UNESCO.

On the first day of the visit, Pashinyan will attend an official reception hosted by the President of France in honor of the heads of state and government participating in the second Paris Peace Forum.

On November 12, the Prime Minister will participate in the opening of the second Paris Peace Forum and will deliver a speech during a thematic discussion scheduled to take place within the framework of the event. There are plans for Pashinyan to present a symbolic gift to the library of the Paris Peace Forum.

During his visit to Paris, the Armenian Prime Minister will also visit the headquarters of the International Organization of La Francophonie and meet with the Secretary-General Louise Mushikiwabo.

Pashinyan and his wife are also expected to visit the UNESCO headquarters and participate in the activities of the 40th General Conference of UNESCO. Within the framework of the thematic discussion at the conference, Prime Minister Pashinyan will give a speech. Furthermore, the Prime Minister will have a meeting with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and will give an interview to the UNESCO press service.

During the visit, the Prime Minister and his wife will meet with leaders of the Armenian community in France's spiritual and secular institutions. An official reception will be held in honor of Nikola Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan, during which the Prime Minister is scheduled to deliver a speech.
