4 kg of marijuana, cannabis plants found in the house of a Vanadzor man

The detection of cases related to the illegal circulation and use of narcotics often requires cooperation among various law enforcement agencies, in addition to a clear plan of investigative measures. Thanks to such collaboration, another case was recently uncovered.

The officers from the Drug Control Department of the Police carried out a search at the home of a 37-year-old resident of Vanadzor as part of an ongoing criminal investigation conducted by the Special Investigation Service. During the search, approximately 4 kg of marijuana and 10 cannabis plants were discovered in the house.

According to the homeowner, he had cultivated the discovered marijuana for personal use. An examination has been appointed, and the preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
