VIDEO: Youth Pass Metro Token to Arayik Harutyunyan through Pashinyan
Youths demanding the resignation of Minister Arayik Harutyunyan gathered in front of the Ministry of Education and Science and passed a metro token to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, asking him to deliver it to the minister.
“This is for his statements and the token; please pass it on,” said one of the participants, handing Pashinyan a printed version of Arayik Harutyunyan's recent statements about the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF).
The youths emphasized that if Harutyunyan is unaware of the public's sentiment toward him, he can take the metro home and ask people directly. “I believe he will have 100 drams,” Pashinyan remarked, while the protester insisted that the Prime Minister should specifically pass the token they had given to him, stating, “Please give the people's token.”
Pashinyan accepted the token, asserting, “I will keep the people's token as a memento.”
