Brother of the Village Head from Dzorapi Collapses a Wall with ‘06’ and Flees

On November 7, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Aragatsotn province. At around 5:30 PM, operational information was received at the Aragatsotn regional directorate of the police regarding a citizen unlawfully driving a ВАЗ 2106 vehicle in the village of Agarak, disturbing local residents, and at times steering the car towards people.

According to Shamshyan.com, rapid-response teams arrived in the village of Agarak and took 40-year-old Gabriel Avetisyan, a resident of the village of Aghdzq in Aragatsotn, into custody. He was driving a ВАЗ 2106 with the license plate 51 ТС 899.

At the police station, officers determined that Avetisyan not only disturbed villagers—who were reportedly participating in a mourning ceremony—but also struck and collapsed the wall of the house belonging to 49-year-old Yura Sogoyan on 2nd Street in Agarak. The vehicle has also been moved to a designated area under police custody.

In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared by the investigative department of the Ashtarak division of the police. According to G. Shamshyan’s information, Avetisyan was not sober at the time. It is noted that his brother is the village head of Dzorapi in the Aragatsotn province.
