Surenyans Explained the Main Reason for the Abnormal Heat and Dryness in October-November

The head of the Meteorological Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Gagik Surenyans, wrote on his Facebook page: “The main reason for the abnormal heat and dryness in October and November in our republic is the weakening of the cold ocean current in the Bengal region near the western shores of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean, which has led to a rise in the ocean water temperature in that area by 5-6 degrees above normal.”
