Major Fire Erupts Near Krashen Village in Shirak Province

On November 7, at 14:24, the Emergency Situations Ministry received a report that a fire had broken out in the mountains near Krashen village in Shirak Province.

A firefighting unit comprising three operational teams was dispatched from the Regional Rescue Department to the scene.

It was determined that the fire had ignited in an area known as "Yataghnar." The fire was contained by 17:46 and extinguished by 18:24. Approximately 40 hectares of grassland were burned.

Sixteen firefighters from the Regional Rescue Department and five residents of Krashen village participated in the firefighting efforts.
