Major Accident at the Intersection of Nzhdeh and Sevan Streets: One Injured

On November 6, at 21:14, a call was received by the 911 service reporting an accident at the intersection of Garegin Nzhdeh and Sevan streets in Yerevan, where three vehicles were involved in a collision and there is an injured person requiring rescue assistance.

A firefighting team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue department in Yerevan was dispatched to the scene. It was confirmed that the vehicles involved in the accident were a 'VAZ-2105' (driver: Mikayel G., born in 1993), a 'Mercedes W124' (driver: Karen M., born in 1985), and a 'Mercedes C230' (driver: Vahan M., born in 1993).

The passenger of the 'VAZ-2105', Arkadi H. (born in 1978), was hospitalized at St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center. Rescuers disabled the power of the 'VAZ-2105' and shut off the valve of its gas cylinder.
