Hayk Marutyan Travels to Tbilisi by Plane with Delegation

According to the "168 Hours" newspaper, the former opposition, which accused the previous authorities of misusing the budget and corruption, seems not to be opposed to enjoying the benefits and comforts provided by that budget themselves.

In this regard, the members of Prime Minister's team, notably Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, are not lagging behind.

It has come to light that our delegation, which traveled to Tbilisi, Georgia, from October 4 to 9, did not go by cars but by plane, which has surprised city hall employees and council members who note that they do not remember anyone traveling to Georgia by plane before.

Moreover, the order issued by the Mayor of Yerevan does not specify how the delegation members traveled to Georgia; however, it states that all expenses, except for accommodation, will be covered by Yerevan's 2019 budget.

Interestingly, a video posted on October 6 indicates that Hayk Marutyan did indeed travel to Tbilisi by air, as a journalist can be seen speaking with him at the airport. He explains the purpose of his visit to Tbilisi.

It appears that Hayk Marutyan will only travel the Yerevan-Tbilisi route by plane.

Details are in today's issue of the newspaper.
