The Condition of Armenians Injured in Elevator Fall in St. Petersburg Remains Serious, Embassy Reports
The Embassy of Armenia in the Russian Federation has released information regarding two Armenians injured in the incident that occurred in St. Petersburg.
"During the renovation works at the maternity hospital number 18 in St. Petersburg, two individuals of Armenian descent (G.H. and A.K.) were injured due to an elevator fall. They continue to be under treatment at the Alexandrov City Hospital and the Janeliya’s Emergency Medical Institute. According to the information provided to the embassy, the condition of the injured remains serious; they have multiple open and closed fractures, as well as injuries to internal organs. The Armenian Consulate General in St. Petersburg is maintaining constant contact with the medical facilities," the statement said.
