Attack on Border Checkpoint in Tajikistan Leaves 17 Dead
A group of armed individuals, numbering around 20, has launched an assault on Border Checkpoint No. 4, located on the Tajikistan-Uzbekistan border. The attack resulted in the deaths of 15 assailants and 2 security personnel.
It is noteworthy that the attackers were militants associated with the terrorist group 'Islamic State', who had infiltrated from Afghanistan.
