Video: Stabbing Incident in Shengavit Revealed

On October 27, at around 11:30, the police department of Shengavit received a report from a medical center that a resident of Chekhov Street had been admitted with stab wounds to the abdomen. He had been stabbed.

"Department officers undertook various measures for clarification, ranging from preparing the appropriate documents in the hospital to conducting operational inquiries. Investigators from the Chief Criminal Investigation Department and the Criminal Investigation Division of Yerevan joined the efforts. As a result of their joint work, three days after the report, the police obtained information that the aforementioned crime may have been committed by a 34-year-old resident of Mantashyan Street. Thanks to explanatory work, on October 30, the suspect presented himself at the Shengavit police station and confessed that he had stabbed the victim during a dispute around 11 AM on October 27.
