Robert Kocharian has supporters, but there is an atmosphere of fear. This was stated today, November 5, during a conversation with reporters by Levon Kocharian, the son of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian.

According to him, there is a problem in the regions regarding the awareness of what is happening: “There are supporters, and I personally carry numerous letters from various regions. They want to create the impression that there are no supporters, that there is an atmosphere of fear, which is diminishing; this fear needs to be broken. There are many people, but there is fear; they think they are alone, they are afraid of attacks on social networks. There are people who have lost their jobs for showing support.”

In response to a question regarding reports that the money of Armen Minasian has not been paid on time and that there has been a conflict with Viktor Soghomonyan, prompting his exit, Levon Kocharian replied, “I am not aware of that.”

When journalists inquired why he comes alone to attend the trials of his father, Robert Kocharian, he said, “It is my decision to come and participate; we do not find it advisable for all of us to come and participate.”

Regarding the claims of political scientist Styopa Safaryan that Narek Mutafyan attacked him and that Levon Kocharian supported him in this matter, Robert Kocharian's son responded, “I do not wish to comment on anything that this individual has said.”
