Leonid Brezhnev's Driver's License to Be Auctioned in Moscow for 1.5 Million Rubles
The driver's license of Leonid Brezhnev, one of the leaders of the Soviet Union, issued in 1976, is set to be auctioned in Moscow on November 14. According to TASS, the initial price of the driver's license will range from 1.35 to 1.5 million rubles.
"The driver's license number AAK 000077 is in excellent condition. Naturally, the driver had the right to operate any vehicle with this license," the press service of the auctioning body stated.
The driver's license was issued on December 10, 1976, and was given to Brezhnev as a gift from Interior Minister Nikolai Shelkov in connection with his 70th birthday.
