Cash Collection from Citizens During Passport Services is Prohibited, Says Bichakhchyan
When applying for passport services, if a state duty is established for any type of action, a document confirming the payment of the state duty must be presented by the citizen. This was stated by Mnatsakan Bichakhchyan, the head of the Passport and Visa Department of the RA Police, on his Facebook page.
“Collecting cash from citizens instead of the receipt incurs liability as defined by law,” he wrote.
