Body of 53-Year-Old Man Retrieved from Irrigation Canal

As previously reported, on November 5 at 11:59 AM, the 911 service received information that the body of a citizen was spotted in an irrigation canal in the village of Sis, Ararat region, and assistance from rescuers was needed.

A rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations deployed to the scene. Rescuers retrieved the body of Gurgen H. (born in 1966) from the irrigation canal and brought it closer to the vehicle designated for transporting the body.

Shamshyan.com also reports that according to preliminary information, Gurgen H. may have died from a heart attack. He had visited the area today and was looking to catch fish. Police and investigators have found his fishing rod and several caught fish.
