Photos: Lars Closed for Trucks, Road Conditions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of November 3 at 12:00 PM, the roads in Armenia are passable.

According to information received from the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for trucks and open passenger vehicles.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are 250 vehicles waiting on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Construction Works Underway
Construction work is being carried out on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen road, which has resulted in the road section being closed for trucks.

The following alternative road has been established: Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen.
