VIDEO: Explosion on Russian Tankers Leaves Casualties

An explosion occurred on tankers owned by a Russian company, resulting in the deaths of three crew members.

The explosion took place while the Russian tankers, named "America," were in the sea. There were nine crew members on the vessel, of which threehave died. The tankers were sailing near the coastal area of Nakhodka, close to the city of Vladivostok in Russia's Far East.

Russian sources have rushed to assure that there was no oil leak, no fire, and that the explosion was caused by a gas mixture. The ship was not loaded with oil, and there is no risk of sinking; however, its anchoring system is not functioning. Tow boats have been sent from the shore to bring the tankers to port.
