VIDEO: Collapse Occurs in One of Gyumri's Houses, Rescuers Secure the Area
On November 2, at 11:19 AM, the "911" service received information that a collapse occurred in one of the houses on Mayakovsky Street in the city of Gyumri, Shirak Province. Rescue assistance was required. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry has been dispatched to the scene.
It has been determined that the stone wall adjacent to one of the houses (built in 1919) has partially collapsed, covering an area of approximately 10 square meters.
Rescuers have secured the area. The information received has been forwarded to the construction department of the regional administration, the heads of the construction and architecture departments of the city municipality, and the regional preservation departments of Shirak and Aragatsotn, as well as the chief specialists for emergency situations in the municipality.
