More than 7 billion 3 million drams in damage caused by actions attributed to former head of the State Revenue Committee
The former head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) and former Minister of Finance, Gagik Khachaturyan, has caused more than 7 billion 3 million drams in damage to the state and organizations due to actions attributed to him. This information was provided by the Investigative Department of the National Security Service (NSS) in response to a written inquiry from Radio Free Europe.
Whether Gagik Khachaturyan caused such damage and whether he plans to recover it has not been commented on by the former influential official’s lawyers, including Amram Makinyan.
Earlier, the press service of the Special Investigative Service informed Radio Free Europe that as part of the criminal case regarding Gagik Khachaturyan, which was still under investigation at that time, 800 million drams had been recovered to the state budget.
