Levon Aronian Back in the Top Ten
Levon Aronian is once again in the top ten of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) ranking list. FIDE has released the November ranking list, where the leader of the Armenian national team is in 7th place.
It is worth noting that last time Aronian was ranked 14th, and he has significantly improved his position in the rankings this time. Recently, Aronian has been participating in tournaments almost without a break.
Currently, he is competing in the European Team Championship as part of the national team.
Additionally, two other representatives of the Armenian national team are among the top 100 chess players: Gabriel Sarkisian (47th place) and Hrant Melkumyan (79th place). Among the top 100 women players are Lilit Mkrtchian (66th place) and Elina Danielyan (71st place).
