Football Mafia Prevents My Son from Winning More Ballon d'Ors: Ronaldo's Mother

Dolores Aveiro, the mother of Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, has stated that the football mafia is preventing her son from winning more Ballon d'Or awards.

"If it weren't for the football mafia, my son would have more Ballon d'Ors. If he were Spanish or English, they wouldn't do this. I don't know if he will win the Ballon d'Or this year, but I believe in it," Aveiro is quoted by AS.

Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or five times, a number also achieved by Barcelona's Argentine forward Lionel Messi.
