Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, along with his wife Anna Hakobyan, attended the closing ceremony of the 5th annual international festival 'Yerevan Jazz Fest-2019' on November 1.

According to the press service of the Prime Minister's Office, Nikol Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan enjoyed the concluding concert of 'Yerevan Jazz Fest-2019', which featured the premiere of the first animated film dedicated to Armenian jazz.

Notable musicians Vahagn Hayrapetyan, Hrant Stewart, John Marshall, and Lucy Yeghiazaryan performed at the concert.

At the end of the concert, the festival organizers presented the Prime Minister with a poster of the festival signed by the musicians who performed that evening. The Prime Minister thanked the organizers for holding such a high-level festival and for the beautiful concert.

'Yerevan Jazz Fest' is the first large-scale jazz music festival in Armenia, established in 2015. It was organized through a joint initiative of the Armenian Jazz Association and 'Mettzo Productions'. This year, the festival kicked off with a concert by the Grammy-winning Stanley Clarke's band.

The festival featured both prominent Armenian and international jazz musicians.
