Police in Bazum Discover 10 Vehicles Loaded with Illegal Timber

In an effort to prevent and detect environmental violations, officers from the Bazum division of the Vanadzor police conducted intensified operations on October 31.

During the operation, 10 vehicles of various makes loaded with timber were discovered in different areas within the division's jurisdiction and transferred to a secure location. The drivers did not present any documents proving the legality of their cargo.

Initial estimates suggest that the vehicles were carrying over 35 cubic meters of timber in total. Preparations are underway for further investigations, with a professional inspection ordered. Circumstances are being clarified.
