Major Accident in Gyumri: Casualties Reported

On November 1 at 08:44, the emergency service "911" received a call reporting a traffic accident in Gyumri, Shirak region, near the former "Galaktika" store on Khriymyan Hayrik Street, with casualties involved. Rescue assistance was needed.

According to the information and public relations department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, a firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It has been confirmed that a "Mercedes E" vehicle (driver: Shota H., born in 1996) veered off the road and crashed into a tree. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle.

Rescue workers disconnected the vehicle's power supply, extricated Shota H., and brought him to an ambulance. The injured driver was hospitalized at Gyumri Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as seriously stable.
