Laughing at These Accusations: Torosyan on Sanasaryan's Allegations
I've repeatedly stated that my family does not own any medical center, and everyone is aware of the process regarding the allocation of funds. This was mentioned by the Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, responding to the accusations made against him by Davit Sanasaryan.
“When I heard the other accusations, I almost thought that Mr. Sanasaryan would also accuse me of sponsoring Al Capone! I am laughing at these allegations,” said Torosyan.
According to him, Sanasaryan should be asked why he makes such accusations. “I once gave him public advice, but it seems he doesn’t want to take advantage of that advice,” he added.
When asked if these contradictions could affect the effectiveness of the party's operations, Arsen Torosyan replied that there are no contradictions; there is a legal process that needs to unfold, and if it turns out that there is any wrongdoing, then that person should be punished. According to Torosyan, the rights of all participants in the process are preserved.
During the interview, Torosyan also denied reports that the State Revenue Committee has started inspections in the ministry. The minister informed that he has already given testimony regarding the case involving Davit Sanasaryan and others, as he was summoned for questioning in the capacity of a witness, and if summoned to court, he will go and repeat the same. He has already faced Davit Sanasaryan.
