Armenia's Chess National Team's Next Opponent is Azerbaijan

The next opponents of Armenia's chess national teams in the 8th round of the European Team Championship have been announced.

According to Armenpress, the men's team will face Azerbaijan, while the women's team will play against Russia.

Following the 7th round, the women's team is currently ranked 5th in the tournament table with 10 points, while the leaders are Russia with 13 points. The men's team is ranked 6th with 9 points, and here too, Russia leads with 12 points.

The 22nd European Team Championship is taking place in Batumi, Georgia. The men's championship features 200 chess players from 40 countries, while the women's championship includes 160 representatives from 32 countries. The event consists of 9 rounds and will conclude on November 2.
