The head of the Meteorological Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Gagik Surenyan, has made a post on his Facebook page, informing that the air temperature is gradually decreasing.
“Starting from dawn on November 2, an Arctic front will invade the territory of the republic from the Scandinavian regions. Precipitation is expected in all regions, with heavy rainfall in some areas, and wind gusts may reach 15-20 m/s. In areas at an altitude of 1700 meters or higher above sea level, the first snow will fall. On the day of November 2 and the night of November 2-3, air temperatures in all regions will decrease by 8-10 degrees. During the night of November 2-3, the first negative temperatures will be observed in the Ararat Plain and its foothill zone, with air temperatures between -1 and -3 degrees, and surface temperatures between -4 and -5 degrees,” he wrote.
