PHOTO: Mercedes Hits Workers Marking Streets in Yerevan
A traffic accident occurred in Yerevan on October 25th. Around 00:30, a 35-year-old resident of Yerevan, Varuzhan V., driving a Mercedes with license plate 001 AA 09, hit two pedestrians in front of the National Bureau of Expertise at 24 Isakov Street. After the incident, the vehicle continued and collided with a parked Ford with license plate 12 QQ 100.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, two individuals were hospitalized with injuries. The source reports that those hit were working for the 'Marking' State Non-Commercial Organization and were setting up traffic regulation signs along with their colleagues in the indicated area. Following the collision, paint from specialized equipment splattered on the workers, including their faces.
On the investigator's order, the Mercedes has been moved to a special area protected by the Yerevan Traffic Police.
