A Bomb Threat Reported at Zvartnots Airport

According to Shamshyan.com, a report was received last night by the police department of Yerevan and the emergency situations ministry's rescue service operational management centers indicating that a suspicious explosive device had been found on the second floor of Zvartnots International Airport.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, a significant number of employees from the police, national security service, and emergency situations ministry have arrived at the location. A standby team of Yerevan's 1-03 emergency medical services is also on site. The suspicious item has been located, but specialists need to determine whether it is indeed an explosive device or some other mass.
