Vagar Siseryan Distressed and 'Washes Hands' of Amulsar Issue
According to the «Hraparak» newspaper, Vagar Siseryan, the head of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan's office, is currently in China participating in a council meeting of the Armenian-Chinese ‘Shansi-Nairit’ company, of which he is a member.
He has ‘washed his hands’ of the Amulsar issue, feeling upset with media reports and insinuations suggesting that he and his father have connections to the $400,000 experiment conducted on the Amulsar project.
It should be noted that the Siseryans have been accused of brokering a deal for the Lebanese company ELARD to conduct the expertise, which raised suspicions of corruption.
Siseryan stated that he has decided not to engage further with the Amulsar issue, despite only coordinating the media relations. Nevertheless, even as he denied his family's connection to ELARD, the public has firmly established that it is their affiliated company.
According to him, Prime Minister is now exclusively dealing with the Amulsar issue, and the resolution to the matter lies within his purview.
