UAZ Loaded with Wood Loses Control and Crashes into Tree, Injured Taken to Yerevan
Today, on October 23, a major car accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 17:20, a 31-year-old resident of Tavush, identified as M. A., lost control of his UAZ vehicle, registered under number 22 TL 928 and loaded with wood, according to preliminary information. The incident took place in the "Portavor" area of the "Haghartsin sector" of the Dilijan National Park state non-commercial organization, due to a brake failure.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver M. A. and his passengers, 31-year-old A. A. and 30-year-old T. A., both residents of the Tavush region, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the "Dilijan" medical center. Officers from the 2nd platoon of the 4th division of the traffic police, led by platoon commander Edgar Suslyan and company commander Karen Abazyan, arrived at the scene.
As per G. Shamshyan's reports, two of the injured, after receiving first aid at the "Dilijan" medical center, were transferred to the St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center in Yerevan via a reanimobil.
