‘Haykakan Jamanak’: Under What Circumstances Will Hrayr Tovmasyan Resign?

‘Haykakan Jamanak’ newspaper writes that the authorities do not have high hopes regarding Arman Babajanyan’s bill, as it could have repercussions related to several ministers, including Ararat Mirzoyan, and even Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan himself. Moreover, in such a case, the blame would not fall on Hrayr Tovmasyan, but primarily on Ara Babloyan, who is also immune to the new government not only because he was Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s Minister of Health but also because he is currently an informal advisor to Arsen Torosyan.

‘This issue won’t go that far; there will be attempts to resolve the matter through Hrayr Tovmasyan’s resignation,’ said our source from the ‘My Step’ faction. Is it possible, nevertheless, that Hrayr Tovmasyan might lose his patience and resign? ‘This bastion will remain standing,’ our source from the Constitutional Court stated, adding that some time ago, Hrayr Tovmasyan had called the members of the Constitutional Court and told them, ‘If five of you come to me at any time and say that I do not meet the requirements of the Constitutional Court, that you are dissatisfied with me, then I will resign.’
