Trump Will Use Military Force Against Turkey if Necessary

U.S. President Donald Trump is not an advocate for solving problems with force, but he is prepared to use military action against Turkey in response to its actions in Syria if necessary. “We prefer peace over war. But if actions or even military operations are required of us, you must understand that President Trump is fully prepared for them,” said U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo.

According to Interfax, the Secretary was specifically referring to actions against Turkey. It is worth recalling that U.S. President Donald Trump threatened on October 21 to impose tariffs and sanctions against Turkey in case of its “unacceptable behavior.”
