Vladimir Karapetyan on Sarhat Petrosyan's Resignation
As is known, the head of the Cadastre Committee, Sarhat Petrosyan, who is also the son-in-law of Vazgen Manukyan, has submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister.
In response to a question directed at Vladimir Karapetyan regarding whether the Prime Minister will accept Petrosyan's resignation, he stated that the decision will be made by the Government during a Government session.
It should be noted that new details regarding Sarhat Petrosyan's resignation have emerged, as reported by ArmDaily.am. It turns out that he has faced issues not only with the chairman of the Urban Development Committee, Vahagn Vermishyan, but also with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, which are lightly hinted at in his resignation statement.
Particularly tense relations have been reported with the former chairman of the Urban Development Committee and now Avinyan’s advisor, Avetik Eloyan. Petrosyan has opposed the construction of a 71-story skyscraper with a height of 270 meters in Yerevan, but his opinion has not been taken into account as the head of the Cadastre Committee.
We also learned that a month ago, Sarhat Petrosyan informed Prime Minister Pashinyan that he wished to resign, to which the Prime Minister responded that they would discuss the matter after his trip to America.
It is also said that Pashinyan treated Sarhat Petrosyan very well, despite Avinyan and his team doing everything possible to tarnish his reputation.
