Publications Regarding the Stillbirth Case Aim to Discredit the Director: Statement
The Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology has issued a statement addressing various publications concerning their institution.
"In connection with the stillbirth case, we published information several days ago in an attempt to present the true circumstances of the incident to the public. However, under the guidance of certain forces, false and defamatory information continues to be published. The published materials indicate that the intent of these forces is not to clarify the circumstances of the case but to discredit a specific director without determining whether he has any connection to the incident, and to undermine the immense work of the institute in the field of obstetrics, which improves demographic indicators in the republic.
We would like to once again remind that a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident, and an investigation is ongoing. We are doing everything possible to assist the investigative body in conducting a comprehensive and thorough investigation of the case. The institute is interested in ensuring that the investigative authorities appoint all possible expert examinations to dispel the rumors circulating in the media. We believe that soon the investigation will reveal that the published materials are false and are only aimed at unjustly discrediting individuals.
We can respond to all slanders, but considering that an investigation is being conducted, we are forced to wait for the results of the examination and the conclusion of the case," the released statement said.
