Injured Police Officer Attends Friend's Wake Accompanied by Doctor
Recently in Yerevan, the condition of a police officer who sustained bodily injuries while pursuing citizens is improving and he is expected to be discharged today or tomorrow. This was stated by Tovinar Khachatryan, spokesperson for the 'Grigor Lusavorich' Medical Center, in an interview with Tert.am.
“Yesterday, he also participated in the wake of his deceased colleague, Tigran Arakelyan, accompanied by a doctor,” Khachatryan added.
It is recalled that on October 16, during the performance of his official duties, 38-year-old police officer Tigran Arakelyan died from a gunshot wound, while his colleague, A. Hakobyan, was transferred to 'Surp Grigor Lusavorich' Medical Center with a diagnosis of a 'laceration wound to the parietal region of the skull.'
