VIDEO: The Tailings Pipeline of the Plant has Been Damaged, the Voghji River has Turned White

On October 17, at 08:40, the Emergency Service received information that the Voghji River in the Syunik Province was polluted (has turned white).

An operational group from the Regional Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that the tailings pipeline near the village of Nerk'in Giratagh in Syunik Province had been damaged, and discharge was released into the Voghji River.

Before the rescuers reached the site, the damaged section of the pipeline was repaired. Additional information will be provided.
