VIDEO: Exclusive Footage of Turkish Military Airstrikes

Expert on Turkish-Kurdish conflict Karen Hovhannisyan has stated on his Facebook page: “Exclusive footage of the Turkish military airstrikes today over the city of Ras al-Ain (Sari Kaniyah). Many civilians and foreign journalists have been killed as a result of the bombings. Airstrikes are ongoing at this moment. I briefly present the information available up to 15:00 today regarding the operations taking place in certain areas of northern Syria.

Heavy fighting continues near the city of Sari Kaniyah, where the forces of Kurdish groups and those allied with Turkey have clashed. These groups have attacked the city from three sides using firearms and mortar weapons. Six individuals have been killed in the attacks.

Armed groups opened fire on a camp for ISIS militants' families in Ain Issa, attempting to create a situation causing those families to flee from the camp. Near the village of Abu Sira, they targeted a civilian vehicle and opened fire on it, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and injuring another.

Near the villages of Ain Issa Mitras and Menekliye, Kurdish forces managed to destroy two tanks belonging to the Turkish army that were being utilized by armed groups. Armed groups attacked the villages of Aliya and Erben west of Tal Tamr, facing resistance from SDF forces, leading to over 60 casualties among the armed groups.

As of 15:00 today, in this area not controlled by Syrian government forces, the Kurds have managed to knock out 3 tanks and 14 armored vehicles, as well as one armored vehicle.
