Turkey's Defense Ministry Reports on 637 Neutralized Terrorists in Northern Syria
The Turkish Ministry of Defense has announced that since the commencement of the so-called "Operation Peace Spring" in Northern Syria, a total of "637 neutralized terrorists" have been reported.
According to a statement from the Ministry, the number of neutralized members of the "Kurdish Workers' Party" (PKK) has reached 637.
It is noted that on October 9, Turkey announced the launch of military operations in Northern Syria, which have already targeted areas including Tal Abyad, Ras al-Ayn, and other locations.
The goal is to clear the area of PKK terrorists, establish a security zone, and resettle 3-4 million Syrian refugees in that region. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that "Turkey has no desire for Syrian territory."
