Hraparak: Bako Sahakyan Points to Serzh Sargsyan's Example

Hraparak newspaper reports that it has been about 10 days since Armenia's third president Serzh Sargsyan has been in Artsakh with his family. Despite information that he is actively meeting with the political elite of Artsakh, our sources say that Sargsyan is currently not showing any political interest: "He is in a passive rest, and as for the representatives of the elite you mentioned, he has always had friendly meetings with them."

Does he have a preferred candidate for the presidential elections in Artsakh? "He hasn't spoken about that yet." By the way, our sources report that the current authorities of Artsakh and the former authorities of Armenia want to see Arshavir Gharamyan as president, but he is currently indecisive. Moreover, some have started to persuade Bako Sahakyan that there are no suitable candidates, and he should run himself. However, Bako Sahakyan has pointed to the example of Serzh Sargsyan, who went back on his promise not to run and resigned. We learned that Sargsyan will return to Armenia in two days.
