Edmond Marukyan Criticizes Tatevik Revazyan's Performance
The leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction in the National Assembly, Edmond Marukyan, posted on his Facebook page confessing that he criticized the head of the Civil Aviation Committee, Tatevik Revazyan, a few months ago for paying less attention to Shirak Airport in Gyumri.
“A few months ago, I criticized the performance of the head of the Civil Aviation Committee, Tatevik Revazyan, for giving less attention to Gyumri Airport, and I also criticized the fact that, according to the preliminary agreements with Ryanair, flights would not be carried out from Shirak but from Zvartnots Airport. I suggested that flights be organized from Gyumri instead,” Marukyan wrote.
This morning, we learned that the Irish airline Ryanair will begin flights from Yerevan to Rome and Milan starting January 2020, and in the summer to Berlin, while also operating flights from Gyumri Airport to Memmingen at an average of €35.
I welcome the government's decision and achievement in organizing Ryanair flights from Gyumri Airport as well,” Marukyan concluded.
