During 9 Months, the State Revenue Committee Collected Over 1 Trillion in Tax Revenues: Ananyan

In the first nine months of 2019, the State Revenue Committee collected 1 trillion 61.5 billion drams in tax revenues. This was stated by the Chairman of the SRC, Davit Ananyan, at a press conference today.

For the nine-month period of 2019, a collection of 1 trillion 26.2 billion drams was planned, meaning that a total of 52.9 billion drams or 5.2 percent was exceeded.

"We anticipated that the third quarter shortfall would be around 20-25 billion, but in reality, it was only 10 billion," said Ananyan.

It should be noted that in the first half of 2019, the SRC exceeded the planned collection by 62 billion drams. Therefore, it turns out that due to the excess revenue from the first half of the year, the SRC was able to surpass its nine-month target, while approximately 10 billion less was collected in the third quarter than originally planned, as noted by the SRC chairman.

In the same period last year, the performance was 887.7 billion drams, meaning that this year, compared to the previous year, there has been an increase of 191.5 billion drams or 21.6 percent.
