At least 5 people were injured during a Kurdish protest in the city of Gern, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, including two as a result of clashes with Turks. This was reported by РИА Новости.

The protest took place on the evening of October 14, with around 350 participants, the majority of whom were Kurds. As they passed by one of the clubs, still unidentified visitors at the club insulted the protesters with hand gestures, leading the demonstrators to respond by attacking them. Two patrons from the club were injured, and a window was broken.

The protesters continued their march, but when they passed by a Turkish café, someone threw a bottle at them. “This was followed by a very emotional reaction.
