H1's Levon Sardarayan Is Speaking Openly False: Daniel Ioannisyan
Daniel Ioannisyan, founder and program coordinator of the 'Informed Citizens' Union NGO, wrote on his Facebook page: 'H1 employee Levon Sardarayan is speaking openly false. I will not recount how I taught the Mashtots military commissariat to operate according to the law. I will not say how I explained that I do not have any money to provide for a military book (I will note that there was already a case opened during the previous government for soliciting bribes in exchange for military books at that commissariat). Naturally, I will not recount what I have done to enhance Armenia's military defense at this or that time period. Yes, I am discharged from the army due to serious issues with my spine. Yes, like any other male citizen, I need a military book for passport procedures, which I am legally entitled to receive. Since I am not fit for military service, it naturally follows that I should also be entitled to the corresponding military book. Yes, unlike other citizens, I demanded my military book without a bribe and even without a 200 dram 'favor.' Moreover, I am unaware of what border escalation H1’s journalist fabricated in 2014. The escalation in Tavush (and not only) occurred in August-September 2015. I was at the military commissariat (and received my book) in April 2014 when there was no border escalation. Furthermore, according to Article 14 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the armed forces are under civilian oversight, and during wartime, even the supreme commander has not served in the army; and yes, if necessary, he will issue orders that may result in human casualties. Ara Shirinyan, it is time for Public Television to have disciplinary regulations for its employees so that individuals receiving money from taxpayers do not discredit H1.'
