Fire Breaks Out in Gyumri

On October 14, at 15:51, the ‘911’ service received information that a grassy area is on fire near building 31 on Aram Khachaturyan Street in Gyumri, Shirak Province.

Two firefighting units from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 16:40 and extinguished by 17:10.

Approximately 10 hectares of grassy area and 20 fruit trees were burned.
