Citizen Presents Fake Certificate and Salary Document to Obtain Loan

The 3rd department of the Criminal Investigation Department of the RA Police received operational information that unknown individuals were presenting fake certificates of police officers and forged salary documents to banks in order to obtain loans.

Based on this information, operational-investigative measures were undertaken, which led to the identification of these individuals. They were placed under the operational surveillance of the police.

Concrete evidence was obtained that the men had prepared the counterfeit documents in advance with an agreement to carry out financial transactions with them. According to police reports, they were scheduled to meet in the Arabkir administrative district on October 11 to complete the next transaction.

They met, but the transaction did not take place because police officers arrested them at the Arabkir police station.

Within the framework of the criminal case initiated by the police, a search was conducted on the BMW vehicle driven by one of the suspects, where a counterfeit police officer's certificate, a fake salary document, and other items were discovered.

All found items were seized, and examinations were appointed. The criminal case has been forwarded from the police to the investigative committee for further investigation.
